SVG for Vinyl Mug Decals
Vinyl decals are cut from adhesive vinyl using a Cricut or Silhouette.

- Cut from waterproof permanent vinyl (glossy for mugs — survives hand washing better)
- Weed away excess vinyl, apply transfer tape, position on clean dry mug
- Not dishwasher safe for most vinyl types — recommend hand washing only

What size should my SVG be for an 11oz mug sublimation wrap?
Full wrap: 9.75 inches wide × 4.2 inches tall. This wraps around the full mug body with about 0.5 inch overlap at the seam. Export as PNG at 300 DPI = 2925 × 1260 pixels.
Can I use Cricut to make mug decals from SVG?
Yes. Cut permanent vinyl with Cricut using your SVG cut file. Use a squeegee to apply transfer tape, position on the mug, peel backing, and seal with Mod Podge for extra durability.
